Lets talk about some stocks

After breezing through some of my favorite stocks I have decided to provide all of you with 5 stocks that I believe can make you money in the next year. I think that it is very important for everyone to hold (at the very minimum) 5 diverse stocks in their portfolio at all times. Let us begin...

First off we have Visa (V). This stock is brand new this week and I strongly encourage people to invest in it. I do think that we will see it go up and down in the next month, but overall it is going to have you up at least 5 points.

Next on the line we have Apple (AAPL). Apple has been providing innovative ideas for quite some time now and I can promise you that there is so much more in store for the near future. Apple is just about to start its triumphant march back up to the highs we saw only 2 months ago, and I am very bullish on this company.

Third on my list I give you.......(Drum Roll).......JP Morgan! I know that it has been a rough week with the entire Bear Stearns dilemma, but the truth is that JP Morgan (JPM) is a very strong financial firm that will be seeing many gains in the upcoming year. I am a big believer in JP Morgan, even though the financial sector is horrible right now. I believe that in the next year JPM will be up above 50.

Another very hot stock to watch is Live Nation. I know that I recently talked about this company in a past post, but the truth is that it is a very good company with excellent potential to climb. Live Nation (LYV) is looking to acquire the Rolling Stones, which would only make their stock fly even higher. I predict that LYV will be up above 18-19 dollars a share in the next year, and if they do in fact get the Rolling Stones deal, then I am sure the stock will have incredible returns.

My final stock of the day is DuPont (DD). This is a very strong company with a hefty amount of growth in front of it. I have looked at this company a little bit less, but I am still confident that the returns will be somewhere between 5-6 points.

I hope that you will all look into these company's and do some homework on them, much as I have done myself. Remember that the most important thing to do is research and analyze.

Who will acquire the Rolling Stones?

As some of you may know the Rolling Stones are the biggest band in the world, with the highest profits out of anyone. The Stones have always been number 1 and they are looking to have a new contract, but the question is who will get it? Live Nation appears to be the top offer but it is unclear if they will be beaten out. Sony and many other company's are close in the running as well, and as of right now it is research and luck when picking. This is a very big deal and I suggest looking into the stocks surround the deal. I personally think that Live Nation will be the company who gets the deal with the Rolling Stones, but do not base your opinion solely on mine, do your homework on this deal and you will be very profitable.

The Merger Madness

Ladies and Gentlemen I would like to talk about the incredible merger between both JP Morgan and Bear Stearns. First of all I will tell you that it is not going to be settled this week. I made a call last week that it would be a smart move to buy BSC right after is huge drop when JP Morgan made statements that they were going to buy it for $2 a share. My reasoning for this was due to BSC being worth much more than that. After this call BSC has gone up over 10 points, which is quite a lot for anyone who took my advice. I think that BSC will hover around its current price but it is now at a fairly rough place to enter. I do think that it has a few more points to go up with, but overall it is going to be bought within the next two weeks. This agreement is very interesting, and also very rough to get through, but thanks to JPM there is still hope for the once promising financial firm of Bear Stearns.

The Upcoming Week

With the substantial fall of the stock market last week lots of us are looking towards this next week trembling in fear. This truth is there is nothing to fear at all, and that we must all look forward to this week in a hope for recovery. I personally believe that this week we will see a slow (yet steady) increase in the market. Over this next month of march we will remember what it feels like to be happy with our stocks again. I have some hope that we will be able to call this next month "Money March". This last week brought us stocks that were put on sale due to panic, and if you bought like I told you then march will truly become a long period of money making for you!

End of the Day analysis

After reviewing the market today I must say that we are suffering a "Mini crash" but it will go back up. Just about everyone suffered major loses today, some ranging as high as over 10 points. It was a harsh day but the main thing is to not panic, and keep with it. This is a great time to buy into the market, and to make some money back. I predict that by mid-march we will see a dramatic turn around of the market, especially as it starts to get nicer out!

Todays strategy

I beleive that our main goals right now are to:

1. research strong company's that are down.

2. Invest in down company's with bright futures (EX. Apple, Walmart)

3. Beleive that the market is truly going to turn around!

I think that it is a rough time, but we must work through it and be tough. I know its hard but stay with it, and if you cant...then the market might not be for you. Check back later I will have a final blog tonight

Panic!!

Today was a crashing day...I must say that we ALL lost money, and it was very harsh. The market has been terrible lately which means one thing, its a time to be buying company's. When these great company's are suffering losses (such as apple) we want to be buying them on their lows, and riding them to their highs. This is a bad day, and a fairly bad month as well, but I am still very confident that the market will have a turnaround and make us some serious cash!
